About
Pine tar has been used as an ingredient in soap for centuries. Traditionally, pine tar soap was used to treat various skin conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, dandruff, skin inflammation, acne, and dry, itchy winter skin. It can also be used to soothe and help relieve itching caused by insect bites, and we have found it works as a mosquito repellent. Pine tar has excellent antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. We have added colloidal oats and pumice to make this a gentle exfoliator. Pine tar has a strong smell, so if you like the smell of a camp fire, this one is for you!
