Our farm
Landor Farms is a homestead on Denman Island, BC, where we raise pigs, goats and chickens and keep a large garden. Here is our story in our own words, from buying a clear-cut property to the soaps we make today.

Homesteading on Denman Island, BC
Ten years ago, we bought a clear-cut property on Denman Island with the intention of using animals to help heal the land and assist in clearing up the debris. This has led to many adventures, and our farm now raises pigs, goats, chickens, and is ruled by a lovely cat. We have a large garden that not only helps feed the animals and humans but also serves as a source for many of the ingredients in the products we make.

Lanna has a background in herbology and is using her love of plants to focus on soap making. We sell our cold-process soaps “naked” to help reduce excess packaging that ends up in landfills. Our soaps are all natural, and as many ingredients as possible are grown on our farm or wildcrafted nearby.
We forest raise a heritage breed of woolly pig called Mangalitsa, which is world-renowned for the quality of lard. One of the reasons lard is such an extraordinary moisturizer lies in its cellular makeup, which absorbs effortlessly into the skin, softening and smoothing out skin tone, while reducing the appearance of age spots. It produces a creamy lather and creates a hard, long-lasting bar. This soap will last longer if allowed to dry out between uses.

We also offer a Vegan line of soaps, as well as our popular goat milk soap. These all make your skin feel extra nourished and are made with the highest quality ingredients.
Our soaps are colored with clays or plant material and gently scented with essential oils. Ingredients are organic & non-GMO whenever possible.

In addition to soap, you will also find a variety of spice blends and condiments. These are constantly changing depending on what ingredients we are growing!
