What Is a Lotion Bar?
A lotion bar is crafted from natural butters, oils, and often beeswax, allowing it to remain solid at room temperature but melt enough for easy application when rubbed on the skin. These bars contain no water, which makes their moisturizing ingredients highly concentrated.
To use, simply hold the bar in your hands to warm or glide it over dry areas; your body heat softens the bar so the nourishing ingredients can be massaged in. This creates a protective barrier that helps lock moisture into the skin, offering long-lasting hydration and relief for dry, cracked, or irritated areas such as hands, heels, and elbows. The mild scent comes from the cocoa butter.
